As part of the Canada Strong Pass, the Government of Canada is offering free admission to places operated by Parks Canada from June 20 to September 2, 2025 inclusive.
While admission at Bruce Peninsula National Park (BPNP) and Fathom Five National Marine Park is free, it does not mean guaranteed entry. A confirmed parking reservation is the only way to guarantee access to locations such as the Grotto and Halfway Log Dump for a day visit. First-come, first-served parking at the Visitor Centre and Singing Sands will fill up very early in the day and does not provide access to the Grotto, Little Cove or to Halfway Log Dump.
Parking fees are NOT included in free admission. You still have to pay for parking and you still have to reserve your spot.
Other things NOT included in free admission: camping and other accommodations (camping/yurt fees in BPNP are discounted by 25% for this period), reservations, guided tours, hikes and programs not usually included with admission, services provided by third parties (including boat tour transportation to Flowerpot Island), fire permits, diver registration, and mooring.
Parks Canada free admission doesn’t apply to provincial or territorial parks, municipal and private parks, parks or historic sites not operated by Parks Canada and locations operated by third parties.
