Letter: An Apology Can Go Along Way!

I was reading the recent letter in the Bruce Peninsula Press “We Have A Problem Here and It’s Not Energy Supply”. It was regarding Avenir Energy and some of their customers. Avenir replaced Sparlings Propane late in 2024.

In the same edition of the paper Avenir Energy issued an apology letter and we received one personally via email. 

We will be continuing to get propane supplied by Avenir Energy because their apology went a long way. It is very rare these days to receive an apology when someone does something negatively affecting you. Usually they ignore what they did and it’s awkward, or the negative actions continue. We’ve had no problems so far with Avenir, but I appreciate them keeping us informed of problems and their solutions to address them. 

I appreciate the apology and if they deliver and their rates are fair we will continue having them as our provider. In the Lindsay Rd. 20 area we’ve had a group rate which is desirable for all parties.
