I am dismayed to see that Shared Tower Inc. is once again proposing construction of a 300 ft communications tower at 75 Lindsay 40. This is the same location and the same tower that was struck down by council earlier this year, after vociferous objections from the immediate neighbours.
It is a sham that the single public information session is being held on the same evening as the deadline for public comment. That gives folks who attend the public information meeting 4 hours to pen a letter, between 8 pm and midnight if they learn something at the meeting that moves them to make a written submission. This suggests to me that Shared Tower is not legitimately seeking any more comment this time, than it did during its previous application.
