CURRY – Suddenly on June 24, 2024 Dwane Alexander Curry in his 72 year, passed away in Sarnia, ON. Dwane was born on December 23, 1952 in Owen Sound, ON. Predeceased by his beloved mother, Lorraine Uvere Hoey (nee McArthur), and stepfather James Ernest (Ernie) Hoey and twin brother Dwight Curry. Dwane is survived by many cousins across Canada and the United States, as well as friends in Sarnia. Dwane lived in Sarnia with Lorraine and Ernie for several years before moving to an acreage near Camlachie, ON. He worked at Polysar in Sarnia, On until his retirement several years ago. Dwane enjoyed sports in his free time, especially golf and had great love and affection for his dogs and cats who called the farm home over the years. His family and friends will always remember Dwane for his quiet, kind and gentle nature. Interment has already take place. A graveside memorial service for Dwane is scheduled for 2:00pm on Saturday August 17, 2024 at the Dunks Bay Cemetery (88 Dunks Bay Road, Tobermory, ON).
