The Sauble and Wiarton Chambers of Commerce are jointly sponsoring two all candidates meetings. These sessions are designed to inform and engage voters ahead of the Ontario municipal election which takes place October 24, 2022.
Meeting 1 – Sunday August 28 2022, 2-5pm at the Sauble Christian Fellowship Church
Meeting 2 – Saturday September 24, 1-4pm at Peninsula Shores District School
Both meetings will feature three 45 minute segments involving candidates for Town of South Bruce Peninsula Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Council.
• Segment 1 – written questions from Chamber members
• Segment 2 – written questions from voters submitted before the meetings
• Segment 3 – live questions from voters from two microphone positions
Anyone who is rude, abusive or threatening will have their microphone cut off and we will switch to the next questioner.
Each candidate will be provided in advance with a detailed copy of the format of these meetings.
