BPEG To Host Two Monthly Meetings This Summer

The Board of the Bruce Peninsula Environment Group (BPEG) is organizing two summer meetings. Everyone is welcome to the Monthly Meetings.

Upcoming summer meetings:

• Local Food – Wednesday, August 3, 7 p.m. at the Rotary Hall, Lion’s Head.

-Eat Local Grey-Bruce: food co-op of producers and consumers, offers weekly on-line food orders delivered to our community.

-Good To Go: Meal kits using seasonal and local food, prepared weekly, ordered on-line and delivered to our community.

• Turtle Tracking Project – Wednesday,, September 7, 7 p.m.  (Location TBD).

-Parks Canada presents their ongoing project to monitor turtle habitat and protect nests and newborns.

If all goes well, the plan will be to continue the monthly meetings into the Fall with the Annual General Meeting to be held in November 2022.

New Board Members required

BPEG is currently looking for people interested in serving on the board. The board’s most important work is organizing meetings and projects focused on environmental concerns.
