DIETRICH, Lorraine (Lassaline) September 23, 1923 – June 20, 2022 – Our precious mom, Lorraine Dietrich, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2022. She is predeceased by her loving husband Johnny (2018) and two daughters, Joanne (1973) and Marie (1980). Lorraine lived a life dedicated to her family and her faith. Lorraine met John as she began her career as a registered nurse. She and Johnny worked hard to raise their ten children and created a loving home for them. Lorraine worked part time as a nurse for many years and no surprise, mainly in the maternity ward. Lorraine was a consummate reader, card player and cook. She loved crosswords, and the Blue Jays. Always willing to try anything new, she even whitewater rafted when she was 68. She will be greatly missed by her surviving children, Jane, Jeff (Lisa), Mike (Jayne), Susan (Deb), Jerrolyn (John), Mary Pat (Rob), Peggy (Les), And John (Karen). Her legacy lives on through her 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Catholic Church in St. Agatha on Saturday July 2nd, 2022 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lorraine’s name to Doctors Without Borders.
