January 26, 1930 – February 1, 2019
Bill passed away in London at the University Hospital. He moved to London to be close to his dear friend Margaret Veale. After living and working in Toronto, he retired to a beautiful cottage on Tamarac Island on the Bruce Peninsula. He loved fishing, hunting, playing cribbage at the Swan Lake Legion, and playing bridge. Skiing was a huge part of Bill’s life. He was a past President of Osler Bluff Ski Club. He was an active member of the Lions Club and he devoted much of his energies to raising money for the Grey Bruce Health Services. He leaves behind his dear friend Margaret, sister Anne, son John and spouse Pam, daughter Anne and her spouse John, and son Matthew and spouse Janessa; his grandchildren Nicki, Kristin, Owen, James and Angus and great grandchildren Jackson, Charlotte and Phillip. A private family celebration of life will take place in the spring.
