Of Wiarton, peacefully at Gateway Haven Long Term Care on Tuesday October 14, 2025. Gertrude Mary Valad (nee Lehman) at the age of 82 years. Dear mother of Kim Caskanette (Brad), Vivian Wyonch (Ernie), Heather Long (Ivan), Charlene Dowd (Todd), and Darren Valad (Sophia), Cherished grandmother of 14, and great-grandmother of 23. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Gertrude; husband, Edgar “Ed” Valad (2011); son, Kevin Valad; grandson, Justin; brothers, Harry, George, Alan, and Bill; and sisters, Margaret, Rose, Christine, Madelaine, Betty, Eleanor, and Ruth. Family wish to express their thanks to the doctors and nursing staff of Gateway Haven for the care given to Gertrude. Private family arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C.
