BEYER, Lavern – Howard Lavern Beyer of Listowel passed away at Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Friday, August 29, 2025, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Gloria (Simpson) Beyer. Father of Tracy Beyer & Mike Ongena, and Tim & Christa Beyer, all of Listowel. Very proud and joyful Pa of Tyson, Justin, Kaylee, Sophie, and Lily, all of Listowel. Brother of Sharlene Beyer, and Joy & Dan Kelly, all of Listowel, and brother-in-law of Clarence Johnston, and Joyce Simpson, both of Listowel. Predeceased by his parents Howard & Elsie (Bartmann) Beyer, sister Maxine Johnston, and Sheila Ann in infancy, brother Jerry Beyer, and brother-in-law Joe Simpson. Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday, September 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funeral service was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
