Ingrid Doerr was born on April 2, 1940 in Stedtfeld, Germany. Passed away peacefully at Gateway Haven in Wiarton on May 27, 2025. Ingrid was a loving wife of the late Frank Doerr, whom she loved with all her heart. She was also the loving mother to Karl and Margot Doerr. The best Oma to Kloee, Frank and Wolfgang. Mom was known to many as a very classy, incredibly hardworking woman, who loved nature and the great outdoors. Many don’t know that she had escaped East Germany at the age of 17 and had many stories and adventures of her life. Her biggest, greatest adventure has always been her family. She will be missed dearly. Cremation has taken place and arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services. As per Mom’s wishes, there will not be a celebration of life or memorial. The family is beyond grateful for all the love and support we have received.
