Some song lyrics never go out of fashion but these have a new life these days, what with electric vehicles dotting the landscape.
What’s not to love? No gas stations, no oil changes, no catalytic converter theft threats and no greenhouse gas emissions.
Yet every infatuation comes with some cost, not the least of which is how to train a technical Neanderthal like me how to best use what is basically a computer on wheels. I’m still trying to figure out how to manage the automatic remote lock sequences and working the cruise control is essentially an IQ test for me.
Still, the ride is smooth and quiet and I can easily get to Owen Sound and back to Tobermory with one charge-up. Life is good in an EV.
